Need to set up 2010 tacoma for special work.

Hey Everyone,

I have many questions about my new tacoma that my old one just took for granted. My off road driving is required for lifestyle and work. My first problem is my ground clearance is so much lower. I would like my rear diff a couple inches higher from the ground. I would also like my front skid plates a few inches higher. I should confess, I love driving off road. But technically I am ignorant. First, if I use Cornfed 3" for the front and 2" for the rear, does that lift the body or the parts I need lifted?
My original thought was to just install an old man emu system. What would you guys recommend?

no, those will just lift the body.

only tires will get your diff's off the ground more.

but in order to fit bigger tires, you need to install a lift! lol

define special work?

OME is a good route, 285's will get you a little more clearance than the stock 245's

x3 for BFG... A heavy tire and even if it's not the best tread, it has a lot of features that make it a good overall tire.

Like a 3 ply sidewall, and rim protector...

And I think D is the lowest load range they have... So for us 15" guys, it's like mounting on the HD tire of a 3/4 ton truck...

x5 on the BFG AT's. They are worth the extra money. I've had them and loved them.

I hear the ProComp Xtreme tires are pretty good tires also.
