need new front shocks for my 86'

so i have an 86' toyota single cab 4wd, with about a 4 or 5inch body life, and i need new front shock, for a reasonable price, i have never bought shocks for any cars or trucks ever so i have no idea what im looking for, i heard rancho rs5000's are good, can you give me some suggestions?

4 or 5 inch body lift ???!!!???!
Highly unlikely unless some fool did some really bad booty fab.

umm maybe 3inch then?? im not sure im new into the whole truck world, i just know its pretty lifted, it has 32x11.5 tires that fit fine

A body lift will have no impact on the shocks, so a stock length shock will fit fine. So you can pick whatever shock you want and find the model via the mfg's recommendation for a stock vehicle. For Rancho, see their web site: http://www.gorancho.com/

The 5000s tend to be a little on the stiff side, so if you are looking for a firm ride you'll probably like them. I like the 9000s better, they are adjustable.
