Need help PA/NJ
I would like to install my 2" lift kit ( add-a-leaf for the rear and bj spacers up front, and shocks all around). But i don't know how…lol. I can take apart an engine but i can't do a lift, sad i know… So if anyone wants to help me out i can throw a couple bucks your way and some odds and ends (i.e. a 1st gen roll bar, etc.) and i keep good company lol. I'd like to get this done before snow falls lol so if anyone really has that urge to lift a yellow 4Runner, this is your chance!

From: Nashville TN. I can help you if you're close BUT NOBODY CAN HELP YOU IF YOU DON'T FILL YOUR LOCATION IN!
what???
Ok, the BJ spacer... IIRC, the inner most two, of the 4 studs presses in. Just review the removal procedure in an FSM or Chiltons and remove it.
Then, via 4Crawlers site (the only one I know) review how to cut the material away so the block will fit into the UCA (upper control arm).
For the rear, you might can do it on the truck. But you will have to remove the spring pack...
Lift it and support it by the frame, then drop the diff and the rest should be self explanatory...
ANNNND! Is there no "regional" forums? There should be...
And quite frankly I'm shocked with all the other (tons and tons and tons) of sub forums...

not sure the planets will align again like they did that one weekend.....so not sure I can make the offer again to ya.
looking forward to seeing the 4runner with the bigger tires on...will make a HUGE difference for ya.
can't hardly find time to get anything done on my truck or Joe's, so I'm afraid I got nothing to offer to you.
how did Gramma ever make out...is she back to ball-room dancing yet?

Well for the add a leaf lift the rear of the truck up bby the back of the frame..
Loosen the 8 nuts for the U bolts on the axles on both sides. And you might consider removing the parking brake line.
Next, remove the spring pack bolt..
Align your aal between the military wrap overload and the normal springs
Get your spring eye bolt back on. U might have to use a C clamp..
Repeat on the other side.
Bolt the ubolts back onto the axle
And you're done :/
Its pretty easy lol
Shouldn't take more than a day

Easy for you to say! lol i really can't afford to mess this up. I depend on my truck as it is my DD. Not to mention removing those bolts won't be so easy. I had a hard enough time taking the bolts off my front tow hooks to install my brush guard bracket...
