My 22R hesitates when the engine heats up / gets warm
So I have a question and i'm sorry if someone has answered it already... I just got a 1987 Toyota Pickup 2.4L RWD Auto with the 22R engine in it and Its giving me a little trouble. The truck is in almost perfect condition its has 91,xxx miles on it and for the most part I havent noticed any issues except one... After the truck gets warmed up, it starts to hesitate when I take off from a stop and only when I relaxly push on the gas pedal. Now when I push the pedal down a little more from a stop its fine and the hesitation stops after I reach about 3 mph or more and I dont notice it at any other times but when I take off from a light or something. Was thinking it had something to do with the EGR or something.. idk
Things i have done to it-
I have replaced the spark plugs and sprayed some cleaned in the carburetor to try and clean it up but the carb is running really good.. the truck idels very nicely and runs great otherwise (wish it had more power but thats a different story lol)
If anyone has an idea please let me know. Thanks for any help you may offer.

Two things, I had an issue where my 22R would "hiccup" on acceleration from a stop. That was caused by a bad vacuum advance on the distributor. It is cheaper to replace the whole distributor with the vacuum advance than just the advance alone.
Second, check that there is fuel squirting out of the accelerator circuit. On a warm engine & with the engine off. Take off the air cleaner top, look into the primary side of the carburetor, the barrel closest to the passenger fender. Now rotate the throttle valve which is located at the back of the carb between it and the firewall. Do you see a small stream of fuel squirting out?
That is your accelerator fuel circuit. It is used to add fuel on acceleration until the primary circuit catches up.
