mud proofing

I want to mud proof (not necessarily water proof) my engine area. I looked into this a while ago and can't really decide what would be good material for this. I think the best would be that plastic like, bendy stuff thats in wheel wells and stuff (i think its called polypropelyne or sum'n) but Im having trouble finding a decent amount of it to work with.

Since I Sas'd the rig, it just seems more exposed and i just want to be able to cover up the engine exposure mostly around the wheels and in the front of my 95 4runner.

Id appreciate it if yall could gimme some suggestions on where to find this stuff, or other materials to use that are bendable and easy to work with. any input would be great, thanks
