lift question

Hey everyone I have a quick question. And yes I looked and looked for the answer on here and did not find it.

I want to lift my stock 90 truck so i can fit some 33's on so I can do a few more trails.. So how much of a lift do i need to buy? I think it's a 2 1/2 inch lift. I need but I just wanted to double check.

Not much, I got creative with a hammer, saw, and wrench on the torque rods to run them on my stock, when my truck was stock.

@muddpigg I want to keep the stock look of the body so I don't want to cut and chop.

If you are planning on running that setup offroad your body won't keep the stock look long.

Relax in time that will change too:-) It starts with a few body pieces here and there and well I'm not sure where it ends. Oh well.

i'm runnin 35's with a 3 inch body lift with just a little bit of hammering. 2 inch would probably work for 33's

I have 31's on my stock 94 that don't rub at all i could clear and run 35's on my 95 4runner with a 4 inch lift so i would say 2 inches will do ya just fine.

Depends on your tire and rim package as well as lift but 2" of lift will clear 33" tire.

I would get a locker before going up another tire size. Youll notice that over larger tires.

And if its a 90, I fit 33X12.5 on my stock truck with only hammering the pinch weld down. Didnt rub at all. Pic below from back in the day.

i fit them with bjspacers and AALs. if you wana go 33 10.50s, you fit them on stock backspaced wheels with no lift no cut. or you cud do like RE RE and give the pinchweld some lovin. hey RE RE, show this feller how to clear 35 12fiddys with no lift

Have plenty of pictures and a build up thread somewhere on here. I have enough of my own threads, I dont need to clog up smalltownbigtoys thread.
