Leaking Steering Stabilizer?

Here is the deal I have red antifreeze in my 94 runner but keep finding green looking fluid on my steering stabilizer. The stabilizer is a Monroe Magnum I put on about 4 years ago. Is there any chance the green stuff is coming out of the steering stabilizer. Used to have green antifreeze forever till I had a stealer do some work and they replaced it with the red, but that was about 6 months ago.

do you have a/c? A/C compresser oil is green kinda like green antifreeze. Besides your stabilizer has gases in it, if they leaked out then you would know becuase the stabilzer would feel as if it wasnt installed.

I've seen Rancho shock oil and it is a yellow color, maybe a slight lime green. Best bet is to clean off the stabilizer well then try and catch the source of the leak. No pressure in a steering stabilizer, they are generally just a plain old hydraulic damper designed to operate horizontally and to have equal compression and extension damping. If they were pressurized, you would have unequal damping turning one way or the other.

I did not know that. I learn something new everyday.

Ok so I went and took a better look at it. Although the little drip at the end of the stabilizer appears slightly green, it was brown on my finger when I wiped it away. Also does have an oil oder to it. So I am betting it is just the stabilizer leaking.
