Leaking coolant *PICTURES*
Hey guys, I want to thank everyone for being so helpful, this is the first place I turn when trying to self diagnose my truck.
So I noticed that I was leaking some coolant after starting the truck from cold, so I popped the hood, started her up this morning and started looking around.

The place that the pipe attaches (the source of the leak) is looking a little rusted.
So, can I take the pipe off and polish the metal and then reattach the pipe without having to drain the radiator?
What is this connection leading to?
Any other comments?
Thanks, and I hope everyone is having a good labor day weekend.

im pretty sure that hose connects to the heater core. you could probably take it apart and clean it if its leaking past the hose. you might could cut off some of the hose and reattach it... but then again the hose isnt gonna cost that much. if its leaking from the heater core itself then thats not fun to fix and no when unhooked this hose i didnt have to drain my radiator. oh and my yotas the same color haha
