Leak from tranny pan!!!!

I went out yesterday and found a small puddle of tranny fluid under the truck. Also saw several drips on the pan getting ready to drop. I wiped down the pan to try and track the leak. It doesn't look like it is coming from the gasket. It looks like it might be coming from the fill tube.

My question is: Is the fill tube welded to the pan or is there a nut/ gasket on the inside that holds the tube in place? Also is this something I can fix in my driveway w/o screwing up all my shift points or do I need to take it somewhere? Any help is apprectiated.

The fill tube is welded to the pan. however, the fill tube splits in half and is sealed with a rubber O-ring.

If the weld for the fill tube is cracked, you will need to replace the oil pan. You can take if off and change it, then re-add fluid without it affecting anything.
