it just went SNAP!

my oxygen sensor hasnt been changed in who knows how long and today i went to change it but the bolts were rusted on pretty good. after using alot of silicon spray i freed up one bolt and after trying to work the other one loose the head broke clean off of the threads.

so.... i continued to put the new sensor on only using one bolt.

is it safe to run the truck?
will it foul up my new sensor?
anything i should know about?

i will only be driving it around till i get it to the muffler shop to see if they can work the broken bolt out. (probably monday)

the truck is in my sig....

thanks alot in advance!!!

nea, as long as its not leaking right there it shouldn't hurt anything. the gasket will just fail early with only one bolt.

Get a metal hose clamp large enough to fit around the pipe and go over the o2 sensor flange and tighten it down snug. That should work until you get a new stud.
