I've got a question

Ok. My little brother just bought a '86 4Runner, and the day after he bought it, it wouldn't start. The truck just got out of the shop a couple weeks ago, for the same problem we're having now. This is what's happening...Go out to start the truck, and right at first it sounds like it wants to start, but it'll never start. And if you keep trying to start it, it doesn't even sound like it wants to start. The shop we had it at, changed out the EFI fuse, cause it was blown, and they unplugged and plugged back in, the cold cranking sensor...and it started right up and had been driving good for a week or so. Then a couple days ago, the same problem started happening. I checked the EFI fuse and it's good, and I unplugged and plugged back in the Cold Cranking Sensor, like the shop did, but the truck still won't start! I'm thinking it could be the Cold Start Injector or the Cold Cranking Sensor, and I wanted some input from some of you guys on what I should try next. I'm at a loss, and it sucks my little bro. can't even drive his "new" truck. So, any ideas?

What engine, transmission?

Where are you at? (ie - how cold has it been)

The truck has a 4 cyl. and manual transmission. I live in NC, and it's definitely not been cold...the coldest recently...65*. I know that's not cold...but my older bro. had the truck before my little bro. bought it, and ever since we had the truck, it never reaches full operating temp. I've put a 160* T-stat in the truck and that helped, but it still doesn't really reach full temp. Like I said, the 160* stat helped some (according to the gauge) so, I know the gauge isn't wrong....but since the engine never reaches full operating temp, and it's just a real cold-natured truck anyways, that's why I was thinking it could be the Cold Cranking Sensor, or the Cold Start Injector...I'm also basing that off of what the shop did that just had the truck. So....yeah. I dunno, haha
