my 88' runner is getting the weld treatment soon as the snow melts, cost is 30 dollars including new gear lube and two cans of brake cleaner. of course my runner is a trailer bitch and never sees the road.

so if i do use the wider rear axle, what would have to do to the front axle?

Wheel spacers, or the sky widening kit.
