Toyota rim compatibility?

I own a 90' 4runner but the head gasket just blew. I don't really want to put the money into it right now because I am buying an 81' Toyota pickup deluxe. The runner has the aluminum rims on it. I want to get everything ready for the pickup and want to know if the runner rims can go onto the truck? I only have a picture of the truck right now and can't see what the bolt pattern is but it looks like six to me? Can anybody help?

Not sure about 90-81, but I got a set of Tacoma rims for cheap bc the guy bought it for a first gen pickup and the backspacing was incorrect and the rim sat against the caliper. So he sold en cheap instead getting spacers.

But the lug patterns are the same.

Yeah the only reason I say that is your point exactly. There are a couple threads on later rims on 86-95 rigs, but I can't remember seeing one for first gens. Please post results with pics so others can reference this later.
