I need a new head! Help!

My 84 truck needs a new head and I was looking at complete heads on ebay. Most of them say 85 to 95. I'm confused what's the difference between the 84 and 85 head? Thanks for the help. Nick

im not sure the difference but i will sell you a head off an 85 22r if it will work for ya

the 85 to 95 ones are probably 22re, and 84 didnt have re, but i think that they will both work, not sure though

oh yeah i think its something like the pre 85's werent compatible with efi but after that they were compatible with efi and carb
