door buZZZZer!!!!

Ok, how do u disconnect the door buzzer on a 92 yota pickup without having to disconnect the auto-door light?? I cant seem to find just where the buzzing is coming from to disconnect it at the source so i unplugged the 1 red wire which connects the light and the buzzer switch to the fuse box.

Please...

much appreciated

Open your door, it will buzz, crawl under the dash and look near your clutch arm you'll see a black box, push it towards the drivers side and it will slide off of its bracket, un plug it, use a screwdrives to pry off the opposite end, then push out the circuit board, there'll be a wierd little thing with some copper wire wrapped around it and an arm that touches another one, bend it flat to the circuit board, re-intstall, and no more buzz, hooray. Now get yourself a beer. Don't be pissed at me if you lock your keys in your truck some time, but its sorta impossible cause when you shut the door even if its locked it unlocks so who cares...

I used to have an 86 that did that, my new 91 doesnt, so my assumption is they stoped it when they made the 3rd gen p/u's
i hated and loved that features, friends would never be able to figure it out..lol

The actual buzzer in located on a circuit board within the Integration Relay, which is located behind the fuse block on the driver-side kick panel. After loosening the fuse block, the Integration Relay can be removed and taken to the bench, where the covers are removed to access the circuit board. The buzzer will be apparent, and can be de-soldered from the board. Put everything back together, and the efffffing buzzing is GONE! Worked for me!
