I have searched and searched.........

Hey Guys can anyone point me in the right direction for a sheet metal (plated) front bumper for an 85 runner? Or is anyone selling one that would be great. Looks like all I can find is bumpers for newer trucks. Im in california if that helps.

I'm not looking for a tube style.

Thanks for your help!

More like a ARB style (boxed look). I trying to stay away from the tube bumper. I bought the truck with no bumper and would like to have some protection on it soon.

Look at my avatar. That's an 85 4Runner with an ARB bumper. They make them.

It won't work without modification.

Not that I know of. Lot's of vendors for later models and Land Cruisers of all years but not for the earlier 4Runners and pickups.

ARB only made one bumper for the 84-88 trucks and 4runners they are all the same and will bolt up IFS or straight axle.

I stand corrected but it still takes some modification for the IFS models.

From Slee Offroad's website:

Part#:ARB - $810.00
'86-'95 4Runner
Accepts Warn 9.5XP,XD9000,M8000 or M6000 winches
On '86-'89 4Runner modifications need to be made to upper bumper brackets. Requires factory turn indicators from
89-95 pickup.

Must not be too difficult or they would have offered a separate model.
