I am looking for input on Genuine Gear R&P

I have an opportunity to pick up a set of ring and pinion and install kits and 2 lock rights all new old stock for a very good price?

I use my 4runner as a daily driver and also plow snow with it.

The R & P sets are Genuine Gear Co. 5.29s

Are they a good gear ?

Yes they'll fit your carrier as long as they are the correct gears for your diff IE 4cyl gears for a 4cyl diff or V6 gears for a V6 diff.

Google "genuine gear review."

Genuine now has an upgraded line of gears called G2...those seem to be nice gears and I like the way they set up. But the older classic Genuines are like the dana35 of gears....they are cheap and sometimes they set up with a good pattern and sometimes they don't. I've set up both situations. Sometimes, it's a genuine box with a yukon or motive or precision inside.
