How much lift to run 31" tires?

I know this probably has been gone over already but I was wondering how much net lift I would need to run a 31*10.5*15 tire with a 15*8 wheel with 3.75 of backspacing. I know that I can get a lift spindle and bj spacer with each respectively 3" and 1.5" of lift I was also thinking about the fabtech uca which should give me about 2-3 inches. For the rear i was thinking about a chevy 64" swap for added travel but i am open to other options i want to keep street reliability since this is my dd.

Thanks in advance!

ok i bet you have got this before but why are you lifting 2wd? besides that i would say go 2 or 3 inches and maybe use some 4wd yota 51" leafs for the rear.

i just want a little more ground clearance and want the availability of a road snow/all terrain tire. and i haven't run into many problems with wheeling mine currently even without a locker... i made it up a road a 4 wheel drive ford had to go around something. plus i want a step up to building it into a pre runner thats half the reason for the chevies. and i don't really want to go buy a new truck because i've got a pretty rare model for what i'm told

well you have a few options for the rear.
you can do a SOA swap, which requires welding...
orr..
you can do a leaf swap.. which requires welding.

idk much about the front, but i know you can get balljoint spacers and net 1.5" of lift from those.

I think i've decided on a set of chevies but i'm not sure how much lift these will give me. i'm not looking to jack it up way high because that is pointless but i want to fit some bigger tires under and have a little taller truck.

have you tried to find a set of S-10 or Sonama ZR2 rear leaves??? they are spring under axle just like your 2wd toyota..but they have quite an arc in them and they flex pretty good (at least on the s-10 i drove for a couple days they did)..

or you could try the 63" 2wd chevy leaves with the overload removed and that will net a 4wd truck around 3" of lift..so i suspect it would net you the same about

for the front, 3inch lift spindles and a 2 inch body lift or 1.5inch bj spacers should get you in 31's with the right backspacing, flared fenders would go along way in preventing any rubbing

unfortunately my truck is an automatic and it makes it a pain to work with so i think i am going to go with the lift spindle and the bj spacer combo... i want to run the lift spindle but i've heard some mixed opinions on them.. any out there?
what are the pros and cons. etc...
