how much diff oil required in rear diff?

anyone know, i know your supposed to fill it till it leaks out of the fill plug but my fill plug is stripped to hell.

(dont ask how im gonna fill it )

86 4runner btw

3qts should be more than plenty. How you gonna fill it if the fill plug is stripped? Can you get it out?

You can fill through the breather hole in the top. Oil volume per the Owner's Manual as noted below:

I filled it through the breather hole, i searched high and low for the answer for at least an hour once again thanks!
