Hooked my battery up backwards

So i replaced the battery in my 1995 4runner it seems i was distracted and hooked it up backwards. Needless to say I replaced the 80 amp fusible link and a couple 15a fuses still wont start cranks but wont start. Pulled ecu codes steady blink which says ecu is ok. Any ideas where to go next.

Did you check your relays?

Is the slow burn wire on the + side at full capacity, not even sure this would matter if'N its cranking.

Repo

Well to be honest I dont know what a slow burn wire is. As demonstrated by my battery mistake I'm not much of a mechanic.

You can try to jump start a vehicle off backwards and you will not make it smoke or spark just ask one of our sales persons. We had to replace over $10,000 worth of control modules and it blew almost every light bulb in the car.
As far as you go check and see What else isn't working, lights, horns, wipers etc. A lot of times something small will cause a bigger problem. Hope its just something simple.

So everything electrical works? Have you checked for spark at the plugs yet?

There is a chance you may have fried something in your ingnition system. I'm not sure what the 95 four runners use for ignition (cap and rotor style dist. or something more sophisticated). Definately check for spark...
