Help! What is this part???

Hey all,

Forgive me for my newbie-ness.

Can someone tell me what this part is (goes in between intake manifold arms)? Does coolant run through it or air?

The reason I ask is because I was putting it back on and one of the bolt heads snapped off in the block. Then, when I tried to use an easy-out, that snapped (of course). My next plan-of-action would be to go to the machine shop. However, since logistically that would suck, I'm wondering if it's air only. If so, I figure I can continue building up the engine.

Thanks for the help!

It's not for air, but coolant.

Is the pipe that runs along the passenger side of the head to the rear an then crosses around the back of the head to a hose on the drivers side that goes up to the heater control valve.

No worries, know that pipe from many rebuilds.

It will have to be installed.

Plus, the thermal sensor controls the vacuum that goes to the AAP and the Choke Opener.
