Hey i know my stuff pretty good except for diff and locker and all that! i wanna put lockers before a lift! but i dont know about it! help me out anything u know will defenitly help me!! i got a 2nd gen 4runner !

you sound a little excited. relax. there is a ton of information in here. use the search bar above, search "lockers". unless you plan to change the axle, a toyota 8" diff is what you'll be sticking with. you may want to change gears, depending on your tire size. spend the rest of the day looking at threads. there will be links to guys like "zuk" and "4crawler" and "erik" and their websites have a ton of information on toyota diffs. the more time you spend on this site, the more you will know about your truck. so sit back and start reading. you'll be glad you did. i definitely recommend reading the entire 4crawler.com site. click the "offroad" link.

There is no such thing as a "bigger diff" and if you have no idea about lockers or how they work then your probably not ready for one yet. Please do some research and then ask a specific question.
