Help ID a rubber o-ring found resting on lower suspension arm.
1989 22RE 4Runner.
I was looking at the passenger side wheel (just doing some investigating before CV replacement) and saw this o-ring (or seal?) just resting on the lower suspension arm. Must've broken off something but WHAT?? A little puzzle for you guys. It is clean on the inside and just some surface dirt on the outside. It is not greasy at all (just some hints). I have no idea where it is from...

I thought so too but I took a look and while the boots are torn it didn't look like this particular piece came off of the boot. It also doesn't look like it ripped off the end of the boot, looks more like its own solid piece. That, and the lack of any grease makes me think otherwise but you are probably right.
I will look again tonight and try to find a match up somewhere. Thanks for your reply.
