Headache Racks - 2006 Tacoma - Mounting?

Headache Racks - 2006 Tacoma - Mounting?
Hi there, I'm putting together a headache rack for my 06 Tacoma, it's got the plastic bed caps on the top, I need some info on whether or not to take those off and put on some diamond plate and mount them through that...What do i do!!!!! Help Me Pictures are much appreciated
