Lol... Me too, but in the Motorcycle world, not the car world.

So it looks like the v6 afm looks pretty much identical. There's no way they are the same though, right?

Yeah. I just checked the part numbers. No go. Looks like it's ebay or the junk yard.

Haha. I wish it was that easy... I would trip if someone asked me that ˟˟˟˟. Funny thing is, I would feel his pain and definitely do it. >_<

I tried to check the tps, but my FSM had a different tps than mine. Mine only has 3 terminals... I found a link to LCengineering that has the specs I need.

Tps only has 3 terms? Does your plug for it have 4? That could be an issue for sure. Wrong tps would be bad.

Check that tps situation out....if its the wrong one...maybe that would explaing wht vafm readings were weird maybe?

You could put an add on craigslist seeking to swap vamfs for $10 for a few minutes or something....maybe even meet some local toyota guys.

Toyota people seem to be much more helpful than other brand owners.

Yeah all the Toyota owners up here in Cen Cal Are reallllly friendly. Most of them wave at me as I go down the road lol.
