Going My Way? Need a Lift...

Greetings. Just another thread about lifting a 4-Runner. I checked the various similar threads but still baffled. My rig is a stock 1995 4-Runner 4x4 V-6 with the notorius read-end sag. Vehicle is not an offroad vehicle in the least, dominantly street and an occassional mountain road trip to the Sierras.

Originally wanted to just bring up the rear level and be happy. But the occassional 4-Runner rumbling by with 4" lift is making me envious. The tech at the 4-wheel shop recommended a Pro-Comp 4WD Stage II 4" Lift Kit.

Alternatively, a lift of 2" to 3" overall would be ideal too. Any kits for a 2" lift including corrections to the rear-end sag? How high is too high before the suspension "geometry" gets jacked? Combination of suspension and body lift?

I am not Bill Gates's banker or relative but have a couple of bucks to drop into this. Any comments from you experts and pros would be aprreciated.

Thanks!!!

for the coils in the rear swap them out for a set off an f150 truck or go with a procomp stage 2 kit

Sutsch13- With the pro comp coils and bj spacers, is your rig now level, including any correction to the rear-end sag? [it's so ugly when it sags it bugs me, ha!] Is there a spacer with the rear coils too? Will any old bj spacer work; do you have a recommendation? Thanks for the reply.

For spacers, check the vendors on our website. www.sdori.com They bundle our spacers into kits which will give you a level truck and take the guess work out of what parts to mix/match. They also bundle shocks with those kits too.

SINCE this is a street truck why not just fix the rear sag with some stock or better replacment then do a 1 or 2 inch 4crawler body lift.. around 100 bucks everything you need and then you can fit 33 inch tires!! i fit 32 inch 11.50 stock
