Glass Pack help!!!

I have a glass pack that im about to weld on but I have a question or two. The glass pack is kind of long and when I mount it up it only about 5 or 6 inches from my rear axle and I dont want it to heat up the gear oil inside the axle so my question it: Is it fine to cut off my catalytic converter and weld it forward about a foot? thanks

Should check your emission and safety laws, here in nova scotia canada you neded your cat for safety inspection. But if your doing it for sound just get a actual muffler. I put a thrush turbo and for a muffler i paid 45 can at napa sounds pretty mean.

I wouldn't worry about heating the diff up unless your putting a turn down that is pointing right at it. You'd be surprised how hot that diff gets by just driving around. It's one reason 80-90 weight oil goes in there.

Pics of this please....

I am sure it ended up like your Homemade stinger....

You should have just cut your Cat off and welded the whole Glasspack forward. You don't have emissions in inspections in Ark so no point in leaving it on there.
