depends on where you go...I would start googling gears but off the top of my head:
2x gear set $150-250ea
2x master install set $100'ish
the gear Master Zuk charges $250 per set up, you can find it for $150(x2)
--these prices are with you pulling the thirds

Lift prices-vary so much start researching...

call around--you are gonna have to do some of the research yourself...4wheel parts, randy's ring and pinion..east coast gear...etc etc

no, other than the tiring rubbing on the steering knuckle(probably the draglink) you mentioned...just will feel underpowered....

oh boy...under each side of the truck (same for both, just reversed) look for a bolt, that as you turn lock to lock, the driver side will contact a triangle looking piece of metal on the front of the axle..(some times those get munched), maybe you just need to adjust yours a little....
here is a picture of mine...(yours will look a little different since I don't have brake backing plates anymore but it points you in the general direction)
sorry--photobucket is down so I can't upload the picture but you will be able to find it in the link below

down load this manual: http://ncttora.com/fsm/1985/1985FSM_OCR.pdf
it says it is for an '85 but the suspension components will be the same 79-85

front suspension starts on page FA-24 for 4WD (page 571 in the PDF)

just like hondas, do your research and you will learn...the FSM link will have a wealth of information for you, it is like a 40 or 50 MB down load but worth it...Good luck!
