gear shift assembly swap 4Runner 2WD
I have a 98 4runner 2wd and do not like the t-handle shifter. Does anyone know if the 4wd shifter assembly bolts in. If it does I thought about taking the area where the 4wd selector is and making it into a storage area since mine is 2wd.. If that's not possible what about a new lever to replace the t-handle. I like the look of the 4wd ones.

If anyone has a 99-02 shifter for sale inexpensively I would be interested in it to see if it will work...If not as long as not too much it will be chalked to to learning experience
