Gas spurting out below to right of Intake

So i just got a 86 Runner

after a lot of looking around
and a snow storm

I noticed this morning that Gas is sputtering out of a hole

What is supposed to go into this Hole to make sure gas stays where it is supposed to and so that my truck can have "POWER"

Thanks for helping the noob!

all i can hear is fuel pulse damper

but than again people are telling me that is "IN" the engine thanks

what motor? is it coming out of a hole that's not supposed to be there or a hole in a part? take a picture of the area you think it's coming from.

It will never have POWER it might run good.

There is a hole in the fuel pressure damper when the internals go bad they will leak.

Either that is what is leaking or your fuel rail itself is leaking

Under the plastic cap on the dampener is a little screw. It may of fallen out but it should not have gas on that side of the diaphragm anyways though.

The one on my 86 started leaking long ago and I went to the junk yard and got one off a cellica I think.

There is a copper gasket between it and the fuel rail and Ive never replaced it with a new one an it seals fine.

Some one might have a used one on here for sale or your local yard.

Although going used is a lot like rolling dice.

If no one else has one PM me and I should have one.

the damper online toyota web sites has one for $96.00 here is the part # 23270 42010

this part # 90430 14002 is for top GASKET, PIPE FUEL DELIVARY INLET

this part # 90430 17002 is for bottom GASKET(FOR PULSATION DAMPER HOSE); GASKET, UNION BOLT

but to be safe to make sure this is right its best to call toyota and give your vin number and they can check

$96.00 is exactly why I got one at the dollar wrecking yards.

Think I remember the Corrola one being longer but I just cut some threads off to make it the same length as the 4Runners. Been on for almost 10 years now though so my memory is foggy

Is this what you need????

This is the fuel pressure damper

It takes the pressure spikes out of the fuel rail.
