Fuel line repair/replacement advice
Hey All,
I've got a busted fuel on my '89 4runner 4x4 3.0 and I have never worked on a fuel system before. I know that Im goning to have to drop the tank to perform the repairs and I'm just looking for some tips and tricks advice on how to make the job as easy and time efficient as possible Ex: any special tools, grease, fittings, preferred parts, ect...
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks again.
Jess

Do you have any idea where it is broke??
It could very easily be the fuel pump bracket this is where the lines come up out of the tank.
If it is any other place it might not be to bad . using fuel injection hose and fuel injection clamps it might be possible to splice in a section.
Know that from moving the tank and things around it is possible to crack something elsewhere . It can be a real pain working on things that old.
Good luck
