I know it's been a year almost since I was on here. I got the 4runner switched from efi to carb and it runs great. Just rebuilt an old aisin carb for a new project 85 pickup but my question is this...

I have a 1992 Landcruiser on which we have replaced the head. With everything back together, it won't crank. I think it's not getting compression because instead of the "rar-rar-rar-rar" you would normally hear when turning the key, the engine only goes "rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr". Flat sound. Engine is spinning, not just the starter. When husband gets home, we'll do a compression test, but I think it's more along the lines of not putting something back correctly.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Played with a lot of 22r's and 22re's, but never a 3fe. And yes, I'm a chick, but I know what's up when it comes to mechanic type stuff. Except for this, lol....

Anyone know if there is a link to an FSM out there somewhere?
