This question may have been asked before,and if it has I apologize. But, would anyone know what kind of exhaust set up would sound good on a 96 T100

 

doug thorley headers are expensive but good quality i've heard. i have a set of OBX stainless that look good quality wise and have been good so far, about a year and a few thousand miles now, no problems. the exhaust is 2.5" with an open muffler.

The only problem with open exhaust is that were im from is that its illegal

3.4 V6 if i aint mistaken

 

i have a 2000 4runner 3.4 in my 2nd gen PU. muffler and mandrel bent exhaust is from downey offroad, now out of business.
the muffler should be comparable to a magnaflow or a midgrade flowmaster. wish i knew for sure as i would like to get a stainless replacement when i replace the exhaust with a stainless system.
i will find out when i take it off to replace, cause it has been over ten years since i put it on.

the OBX headers are for a T100 actually.

 

Ive heard a magnaflow on the same motor before and it sounded good but im not sure what magnaflow it was

 

Would anyone also happen to know the diameter of the stock exhaust?
