My 4runner wont fire but it is turning over, what could cause this to happen?... I was in a store parking lot driving to the exit then my car stalled out ( i bought my 4Runner used and it has always done this on occasion, but always started right back up ) when i tried to start it again it would turn over but not fire???

 

Ignition module, coil, distributer...on the electrical side. Also plugs wires & rotor. Could just be you need a tuneup...

Fuel pump, injectors...on the fuel side.

You're probably getting compression.

Make sure you're getting spark and fuel.

 

I need help. I had my oil changed in my 2002 V6 4Runner and while heading home my truck shut off. I checked my fuel pump and it's pumping properly. I was told it could be the crankshaft sensor which I purchased and replaced but still nothing. After installing the sensor it turned on but shut off quickly.
