Engine dies when gets hot

Ok i have a 1991 pickup with the 22RE was driving down my road when the truck just dies on me. I pull of the side of the road to try and find out what the problem is. Got a friend of mine to come help me get it started so i cud get it home. Heres the problem i start the truck up when its cold and as soon as the temp gauge starts to move the truck just shuts off doesnt spit or sputter just simply just shuts off and will not start again til the engine cools all the way down. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

sounds like a sensor get a fsm or a chiltons/haynes and start testing them against their factory specs. you will need a voltmeter to check votage resistance and maybe amps
