Egr???
well heres the story my egr probably had a leak so thats why it made my cat converter bad. So i just had a new cat install and also went to the wrecking yard and bought a used EGR there and now How do u know if ur car is running right after u replace ur EGR vavle? Some people told me that if i get a hose and stick it in the egr vaccum on the top and suck the air and hold on to it that my car should died/shut off, but when i replaced the egr and tryied that my car seems to almost died but it didnt. Can someone tell me whats wrong? and um if i was to have a vaccum leak where do i check it?

If you pull a vacuum on the EGR actuator port (the one on top), the engine should stumble at idle and if opened all the way, the engine may die. Might be the EGR valve is clogged, use some cleaner and small brushes to clean it out. I used a pistol cleaning kit for mine.
