Ebay Tierods?
What do you guys think of these? I have 1990 4runner that i'll be using until december. All the tie rod boots are torn on the outsides, I'm not sure what the insides look like. Killer price though, right? Are these garbage ? And if they are, will they last me a year of very easy driving? I'm thinking yes...

I'm sure they'll last but are your current ones lasting. If it's only until December and very easy driving. What happens to it after December? If it's still going to be yours you might want to do something about it instead of pawning it off on someone else.

Well, They're in bad shape. The research i've done on these things says that if they break its going to be really ty, especially at highway speeds. It will be sold after then. Are you really proposing to drive on bad ends until then?

I recently rebuilt the front on my '88 using EBAY parts - inner and outer tie rod ends and upper & lower ball joints for both sides. Everything fit perfect and they looked to be decent parts (Coni Seal I think). The only thing I didn't like was on the inner tie rods, there is a zerk fitting that just barely nicks the lower control arm towers every time it swings by, I think I'll just get a plug for the inners though and ditch the zerk before they get torn off
