DUI Distributor 22r Install Details?

Hiya, in my compulsion to visually simplify my engine compartment, I've got a Performance Distributors DUI distributor coming. I've got a 1984 Pickup with an '84 22r.

I've oogled my wiring diagrams and I'm still confused.

Where is the closest spot to connect to the ignition switch? Also, is the coil/igniter assembly completely eliminated?

Secondly, there's only one vacuum line on the distributor. Which one of the two going to the current advance do I keep?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I used the ignition wire off the factory coil. Yes the coil/igniter is eliminated. I used the vacuum port on the bottom of the carb, I have a 38mm Weber on it now.

Thanks for the info, I'm still mildly confused though.

The documentation I've seen indicates hooking up a tach line, but the only one I seem to be able to find is coming off of the igniter.

EDIT: Now that I look at it more carefully, it looks like it's a tach output off of the DUI... right?
