What vehicle are you planning to install it on ?
I'm pretty sure that they don't make kits for FI engines.

Anyway, the exhaust is about the same loudness, not sure why you may think it would be different. It does smell though.
Regarding the O2 sensor, ask the place that you're getting the conversion from. Since you're asking about the O2 sensor it sounds like the vehicle that you're planning to convert is FI.
One other note, you'll have less power than what you have now, so I'd ask why the desire to do the conversion ?

its for my trail only rig.. i want it because the gas tank is in a stupid spot and a tank of propane from a forklift is 20 bucks to fill.. my gas tank is 60... also i have rotten fuel lines and could use the fuel injection parts on my daily driver..

YES they do make kits for FI vehicles.... i need a carb'ed manifold and a carb'ed distributor and ignitor..

WHY WOULD THIS BE A BAD MOVE????

do you work for a gas company or something?

both my vehicles are 90s 4runners 22re 5 spd.

The guy that owns gotpropane.com runs a 22R truggy on propane using a 22RE intake--the OP's engine is a 22RE=fuel injected

probably the desire to run at extreme angles at just about any altitude...that is some of the reasons I would convert to propane

Downside of converting to propane is if no one else is running it on a trail run hard to get a refill from a 5 Gal gas can...Need to have a reserve tank...

See the May/JUne issue of Toyota 4wd owner magazine page 8.

X2 on contacting a source like gotpropane.com--they will have the answers for you...

but their website does say: " Please do not call us regarding car, SUV, and newer street legal vehicles (87 and up). We are overwhelmed with calls because of rising gas prices. We do not have epa legal kits. This means that if it has to go through smog, it isn't certified."

so not sure if they will be able to help you with the 94 though a 94 22Re is gonna be close to an 85-87 22RE AFAIK...

Good luck, I would love to see how this conversion progresses

edit: my post took forever to post for some reason....you answered most of Fred's ?'s before I did...my computer sucks
