Concept

What's up y'all. I have a request for you! I am currently doing an assignment for diesel class and I have to draw up and describe a concept car. I can use cars that are or have been created but I need to add the things that I would want on that car. I am using the body style of the '93 pickup dlx. In the concept I have put in a 1.9l TDI engine with the standard transmission. I am hoping you guys can help me out with the drivetrain. What is the best gear ration to use with that set up in the engine and transmission? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Ask your teacher for help if you are that far behind everyone else.

Really? You think you guys are the first resort. I've talked to him and he doesn't know toyotas very well. He told me to find forums and other resources for help. Thank you for scolding someone fresh to the hobby and career just trying to learn.

No not really grumpy most times Just forget at times it is no longer 1965 and the rules beat into me with a belt a few times back then no longer apply to classes of any sort in 2015 .

It was just a response from mental conditioning aka Brain Washing

It's a drivetrain and transmission class for a diesel tech degree. The assignment is to take a vehicle of our choice and and then add the engine, transmission and drivetrain of our choice along with any other goodies we wanted in it. So I'm using the same truck I drive which is a 1993 pickup dlx. Thanks for the help and advice guys!

Well you could really make up anything. Is the teacher going to see if your choices match up with each other?

That is the neat thing with over the road trucks .

You can pretty much spec any engine with the trans you like with your favorite rears

Then it all can be put together .
