I just replaced the head on my 1995 4x4 tacoma and now i get a code po336 is it possible that the distributor is out a tooth but i ask this because the engine runs fine no back fire. but the code causes the engine fuel cut out and dies you can keep it running by increaseing the throttle. i did the resistence test for the distribtor sensor and he crank sensor they check out fine. there were no codes piror to head replacement. tried resetting but code comes back.
