clutch kit???????

clutch kit???????

i have an 86 toyota 4x4 and my clutch is going out fast, my buddy has a clutch kit for an 86 mazda b2000 would this work??????? or do i need one only for yota?

I would say I'm 99% sure that's a no. You can get a kit from an auto parts store for like 125 and get your fly wheel resurfaced for around 40 bucks.

probly zero chance of that clutch working check out the marlin crawler clutches im real happy with mine and everyone else on here seams to like them and the price is decent

thanks, i found out that it was just the slave cylinder, that leaked all the fluid out, so i just replaced that, but ill definitely take a look into that when i need to replace the clutch

Good to here you don't have to change the clutch but when you do I would recommend either an aisin or the Marlin HD both options will be better then the cheapo on you would pick up at the auto parts store and when you are under there doing the job you might as well do it right. Cheap clutch $99 Marlin HD $179 Wabfab Aisin $149, all worth the extra money and really not that much more

Its a fairly straight forward setup. A jack, some hand tools, and an afternoon and you can change the clutch yourself.

The hardest part is getting the trans back up into place if you do not have a trans jack. I have put one in with the help of another guy, but its not a fun task.
