Question charge light in dash

hey all, new guy here......so for the past cpl days after i let my 1987 toyota pickup with a 22r warm up in the am my charge light in the dash will come on, my radio will shut off and my belt will sqeek a lil. when this happens im usually not moving fast but when i get up in the rpms the light will go off, and radio will come back on. my question is, is this the alternator going out or the bearing sticking? my distributor bolt came out of the head once and spit oil over the alternator. i put a new bolt in and cleaned the area with carb cleaner and thought it was fine. its been a few months since the oil mishap. so am i right or is it sumthing else? nothing else happens when the light does its craziness......headlights stay on, truck runs fine, and dash lights dont dim. its just weird. any help would be awesome. thanks.

A couple thoughts;
Oil gettin on it probably didn't kill it. They are an open design and unlike the starters which have a paper/cardboard liner, they aren't quite so affected by oil.
First thing I always check on these is the connections at the alternator itself. I have had the round plug get loose and cause weird indications. Also check your power wire at the alternator and the place where it makes a connection in a terminal on the drivers side inner fender.
Beyond that I'd say to have you alternator tested.
