can you do it?

Can you turn a 3.0 3vz-e to a 3.4 stroked type? Kinda like a 350 to a 383 Chevy motor?

I wouldn't even used the word (stroked) with a 3vze, lol & I own one.
IMHO your wasting your time trying to morph a 3.0 into a 3.4
Just swap in a 3.4 5vzf-e and you will be happy.

why? the 3.4 is a better more advanced engine. smart thing to do is not waste money on a 3.0, go with the 3.4 and if thats not enough charge it.

I was just seeing if its possible. What would I need to do the swap? What can be done to the 3.4? One more could you do it. Can you put a 5.7 in a Toyota 4 runner?

engine swap section here https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f89/ 3.0 to 3.4 is one of the easier swaps, you can get a harness from toy only swaps in oregon. all the information you need is here on yotatech.
you can get 300 HP + from a charged 3.4 if thats not enough get a v8 or a turbo inline six for up to 1000 HP lol... google supra swaps.

Is the 22r better than the 5vz? I noticed there are more performance parts for it

You should totally stroke the 3v. Just have a custom crank designed and machined, find some rods the right length, or have them cast/machined, then just get good studs and make a good headgasket to seal up that pesky problem. Haha

Yes you can put a 5.7 in it, you can technically put any motor you want in there.
