Budget Suspension Ideas...

So here's the skinny... I've been working on my 96 Limited for around 4 months now. I have most all of the truck in tip top shape. I have just put on the Toytec Lift coils and the LC80's I found one of my front strunts is bad and that the truck rids like crap with the stock rear shocks. I want to install Bilstein's in the front and the 5100's in the rear. However... the wife is putting a hold on my spending as we are getting near Christmas and birthdays and so on... I thought I read on here that another vehicle's rear shock will work as a lift shock on the 4Runners... I need an inexpensive temporary fix until the first of the year when I can go full hog again. Any suggestions???

Also, for the front I see that I will need some added lift to level the truck a bit. What will be my best choice in this? Spacers? or could I try to squeeze the Eibach spring in the adjustable strut. I'm happy with the front rid so far... I don't want to make it any worse... Help... I do as much offroadig as I can and I want a rig that can handle anything I throw it's way...
