Broken clutch release fork replacement

Broken clutch release fork replacement
Is there any chance one could replace a broken clutch release fork with removing transmission, transfer case and other parts attached to the transmission? I gave my 4runner to my son who now lives a thousand miles away. He is not much of a mechanic. I guess I will start looking for information on replacing a 1st gen clutch. I figure if he has to remove all the parts like if he was doing a clutch job he might as well do one when he is right there.

In theory it might be possible Working with some custom made tools the frustration level would reach all time highs .
Not being able to see the hard part would getting the clutch release bearing secured to the new fork and the fork on the pivot
If the fork broke no doubt time for a New Clutch
