Brake issue, something new???
Posted this here since I'm a "brake rookie".
Recently went through and checked everything. The pads/shoes are new, springs in the drums are clean and work fine, the adjusters have been serviced and (according to what I've read) the rears are adjusted properly since I'm getting 13 clicks on the e-brake when I set it, read here it is supposed to have between 12 and 17 clicks to be correct. Thought it was the LSPV rod (lift and all that) so I removed it and installed the LSPV adjuster that I bought from RMA. Ran the adjustment up so that the LSPV rod is as high as it will go, most braking to the rear as if it's got a heavy load, and went out to the gravel pit to check the adjustment.
10mph, slam on the brakes and the fronts lock up but the rears do not. On the street I can't even get the fronts to lock up. The truck still stops fine but not as quick as I'd like. The system has been bled, there are no leaks, plenty of fluid and the MC/reservoir are also fine, no leaks, no air leaks nothing.....
I'm at a loss at this point. Help??

Good idea, just went and tried it and the pedal moves about 2" before getting firm. I can't push it to the floor no matter how hard I press it.

doesn't seem so bad...
I had crappy brakes for a long time after replacing my rear drum pistons. I did about a gallon of brake bleeding and nothing helped until I swapped out my MC and bled it all over again.

Or get REALLY crazy and get some disc brakes in the back!
