Bed "droop"?
#1
I've noticed 86-94 Toyota (and 73-87 Chevy) pickups where it looks like the bed is drooping towards the rear, and the cab/bed gap is noticeably wider at the top than bottom.
What causes this?
Bed mounts?
Frame bending?
Thanks?

Wabbit must speak from experience.
Lol, had to.
The rear sags because the leaf springs eventually wear out and become flat. Especially on 4Runners since the frame and suspension was originally designed for a pickup and not the added weight of the 4runner body. But there are some easy fixes for this. Either replace the saggy leafs with new ones, add a leaf (might only help some for a short time), and the ZUK mod.

I lost my a** nigh on to 28 years ago.
I'm not talking the trucks being lower in the rear, I'm talking the bed to cab relationship.
Back in the day, I saw off road racing truck's frames break in two cleanly, right between cab and bed, but the Toys and Chebies aren't doing that - I think.
What is happening?

OHH okay, sorry I misread your original post. I know what your talking about where it looks like the frame is bent in the center and the body lines don't meet up anymore. I would like to know this one too.
