Ball Joint Spacer Alignment Issues

Anyone know of a good shop around Longmont, CO that can align my 4Runner with ball joint spacers installed? I took it to Steve's Automotive and they won't touch it unless I "get the right lift kit, the one with the brackets that drop everything down..." They said it's not alignable how it is. BS!

Thats funny.. I'm experiencing the exact same problem right now too.. I took it to Bear Frame and Axle and they couldn't get it right either.

90% Would be a heck of a lot better than it is right now. My camber is ridiculous. I agree it may never see factory specs again, but I need to find someone that can make it better than it is.

That's discouraging. Those guys are supposed to know what they are doing.

Guys you need to adjust your torsion bars EXACTLY the same ... aka STOCK. if you install balljoint spacers DONT crank them more than they were stock otherwise you wont be able to get camber right, or caster for that matter.

I dont blame alignment shops for telling you to piss off, its a pain in the butt if both sides arent sitting at the same height.

I didn't adjust the torsion bars at all. I just installed the spacers. I get the same measurement from wheel lip to the bottom of the fender on both sides, so both sides are sitting at the same height. The question I had was about a competent shop in Longmont, CO.

Well, after going to four different shops I finally found someone who could align my truck. They were able to get it all within factory specs, the steering wheel is centered and the truck drives nicely now. If anyone else in northern Colorado is looking for a competent shop to align there Toyota with ball joint spacers, I highly recommend Stonum Automotive in Longmont. Their techs definitely know what they are doing.
