Ok maybe I will get the FAIL stamp for searching...but I've tried searching this site, pirate, and a few others. My front axle on my 79 truck is leaking a lot of oil from the knuckle. Pretty sure its the inner axle seal. So I ordered up a knuckle rebuild kit. My question is...can someone give me a link to the best writeup for how to tear these axles apart and change all the seals. I've read a couple and just haven't gotten comfy yet. I like to really know what to expect before getting into it normally, and this time especially seeing as though by the time the kit arrives ill only have about half a day to do the rebuild before I'm supposed to be on the trailer headed for the rocks. So some help with some good writeups would be good. And also...in general, what are some things to expect, inspect, and watch out for? Thanks

 

Also...aside from regular hand tools...what tools are neccessary to get the job done?
